The Zia Symbol



The Zia symbol is based with Christian and Zia principles. The Christian being similar to the cross on which Christ was hung. The Zia prinpcles come from the Zia, an indigenous people of New Mexico. This sun symbol has four arms which represent: four points of the compass, four periods of each day, the four stages of life, the four obligations for one's physical, social, mental, and spiritual health.
